At Opal Hair Studio, we require a credit card on file to reserve your appointment. However, you may choose another payment method upon checkout. We currently accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. You may add gratuity to checks. Unfortunately, we cannot place a gratuity on a credit card.
Some stylists also have Venmo to accept gratuities.
A $100 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking for all new chemical service clients. This $100 deposit is good to use towards your booked service. In the event of a no-show and/or same day cancellation,
this fee is forfeited and the remaining balance of the scheduled appointment will be charged to the card on file,
per our same day cancellation policy below.
At Opal Hair Studio, we require at least 48 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Same-day cancellations or no-show appointments will incur a fee equal to the full appointment cost. Please contact us as soon as possible in case of emergency. We will do our best to reserve you a new appointment. We have a 5 minute grace period for all appointments. In order for us to accommodate our other scheduled clients, we will not be able to perform your service to the best of our ability due to lateness. If no accommodations can be made, the original appointment must be paid in full.
Clients with excessive lateness, cancellations, no-shows, or rude behavior will be asked not to return.
Opal Hair Studio holds the right to refuse service if deemed appropriate.
A patch test may be required prior to service if deemed appropriate by your stylist.
Please refrain from bringing children or guests with you to appointments. Space is limited and we want to ensure the best experience for all guests. We do not service guests under 12 years of age. We can no longer off a self-service station. A finish/blowdry may be booked with your color if a blowdry is needed.
Opal Hair Studio does not offer refunds on services or products. Please contact us within 2 weeks to schedule any adjustments needed to hair services. Your happiness is our priority! Retail products (*excluding hot tools, sale items, clips, brushes, makeup or Kitsch) may be exchanged within a 30-day period. We do not offer refunds, though a credit may be placed on your client account for future purchases. Gift cards are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Gift cards expire 2 years from activation date.
